Superior Auto cuts ribbon on new store in Tiffin

Image removed. It was great to officially welcome a new retailer into the Tiffin market yesterday.  In early October, the Advertiser-Tribune reported that Superior Auto would be opening a new store at 2525 W. Market St., and the ribbon cutting went off without a hitch (see pictures below). Seneca Regional Chamber President John Detwiler and Director of Internal Operations Deb Martorana did a great job of making the company feel welcome, as did some of the great Chamber Ambassadors. Other officials who attended included Tiffin Mayor Aaron Montz and Seneca County Commissioner Holly Stacy. I had a chance to talk to both Steve Weber, who is Superior Auto's Chief Operating Officer, as well as Paul Rolsten, who is the Sales Manager there. They were excited about both the Tiffin market as well as how they've been treated. This is exciting to hear because retail is a key part of our economic development strategy moving forward, and we want to make sure we are doing all we can to make it easy to grow that sector in our town. This is Store 49 for the chain, which has stores in Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio (and is also looking at other states for potential expansion). The building renovations plus the inventory (30-40 cars) looks to top $300K, occupies the space left by Buckeye Kitchen and Bath, and makes it a nice investment for our community. 8 people will also call this operation their work home, which is, of course, good news. It's great to continue to see our retail sector strengthened, and I think we can definitely count Superior Auto as a Seneca Success.
