Image removed. The Seneca Industrial and Economic Development Corporation (SIEDC) is pleased to announce that Amy Reinhart has accepted the position of Downtown Development Coordinator and will begin on June 2, 2014.
Amy can be reached by cell at 419.619.5517 or by email at reinhart@senecacounty.org.
Amy received her degrees from Kent State University with honors, including one in architecture. She worked at SSOE for a couple of years and led the Young Architect's Forum as President. She has also taught at the University of Toledo. In her most recent role, Amy took over the leadership of Leadership Seneca County, where for the past two years, she has done an amazing job managing volunteers, serving both employers and participants with the highest level of organization, professionalism, and effectiveness.
Fortunately, a number of very talented individuals applied for the position. In the end, it was a difficult decision, and Amy was the unanimous choice for everyone from the Downtown Development Committee, the Executive Committee, the Chamber, and SIEDC staff who participated. Her references gave glowing reviews, and I personally went to see her make a public presentation on LSC, where she did a great job. She has a passion for both downtown development and preservation, while approaching things with a practical "get things done" attitude. She understands the importance of the small business owner, of property owners, of events and projects in the downtown. She supports and understands the Main Street approach and is looking forward to learning more, as she works with us and you all to transform Tiffin into an Ohio Main Street Community. And she has read and understands the Downtown plan and its need to be refreshed and further implemented.
