Meet Brandt and Makenzie Weininger, owners of Weininger Family Dentistry, located at 2540 S. SR 100. The Weiningers took over Dr. Temple's practice last April. They are the fourth owners of the practice, which will be 100 years old next year. Brandt is originally from the area and is a Mohawk High School alum. He met his wife and Dental Hygienist Makenzie while attending dental school at Ohio State. During his Junior and Senior years at OSU, Brandt provided dental service to the OSU athletes. The mouth guards he made for OSU football players can still be found in his office! Brandt completed his residency in South Carolina, where the Weiningers lived for over 4 years. They worked at a private practice there before getting the opportunity to take on Dr. Temple's practice. "The whole time we were in South Carolina we loved it, but it wasn't home. We were looking for opportunities in Ohio, in a small town, and this opportunity with Dr. Temple was a big blessing. I've always been proud of where I'm from and I'm happy to be here. It's great to be back and to see familiar faces everyday," Brandt said. They were also able to keep all of Dr. Temple's staff. "I can't say enough good things about Dr. Temple," Brandt said.
