FroZone to open in the Laird Arcade this spring Image removed.TIFFIN, OHIO – March 16, 2016 – FroZone, Tiffin’s first build-your-own frozen yogurt shop, will be opening in the Laird Arcade this spring. The shop will feature 12 yogurt choices and a topping bar. Customers will be able to build their own frozen yogurt bowl with as many flavors and toppings as they desire. The cost of the treat will be based on its weight, in ounces. Tiffin natives Toria and Arianna Felton will own and run the new venture. “I have always enjoyed frozen yogurt. There was a store I really loved while attending classes in Bowling Green, and I thought it would be a unique addition to the dessert options in Tiffin,” Toria Felton said. FroZone is the latest shop to find a space in the Laird Arcade with the assistance of Shuff Consulting, which manages several properties in Tiffin, including the entire Laird building. “I love being able to help bring new and expanding businesses to Tiffin, especially when it meets a need not already being fulfilled,” owner Tyler Shuff said. Mayor Aaron Montz is excited about the addition. “I am pleased to see another unique, small business opening downtown,” he said. Built by Rezin Shawhan in the mid-1800s, the Laird Arcade has seen a resurgence since it was purchased by the Tiffin Community Reinvestment Group in 2012. Both the interior and exterior of the building have been renovated, second floor apartments improved and occupied, and the storefronts on the first floor are filled.
