The Chandelier set to open in former Civic Center Image removed.TIFFIN, OHIO – February 2, 2018 – The Chandelier, a full-service wedding and event venue, is set to open in the former Civic Center building at 151 S. Washington St. in downtown Tiffin in late spring. Investment partners Holly Hoffman and Tom Fretz are working to renovate the 7,500 square foot building, including upgrades to the kitchen, lighting, carpeting and dance floor. Once completed, the space could be used for weddings, corporate events and training, and community events. “We will help plan the event right along with the client,” Hoffman said. Hoffman and Fretz met through a mutual interest in the building, and bring complementing services to the table. Fretz is an experienced DJ and videographer and Hoffman previously managed the Neeley Center at Terra State Community College and will offer catering and event planning services. Tiffin Mayor Aaron Montz is excited to see the vacant building back in use. “Downtown Tiffin has felt the lack of an event hall of this size since the Civic Center closed,” he said. “The Chandelier will be a great addition to what the downtown has to offer.” About SIEDC Started in 1983, the Seneca Industrial and Economic Development Corp.
