TSEP, Chamber moving to the heart of Downtown Tiffin

New offices across from Seneca County Justice Center

TIFFIN, OHIO – March 24, 2021 – Tiffin-Seneca Economic Partnership and Seneca Regional Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Services are announcing that the two organizations are moving their offices to 94 S. Washington St., across from the Seneca County Justice Center. The last day of operations at the Bradley Building, 19 W. Market St., is April 2.

By year’s end, TSEP and the Chamber intend to renovate the first floor of the new building to include a new Welcome Center for Destination Seneca County. While renovations are being completed, TSEP and the Chamber will be operating out of the second floor of the building, which will be accessible to the public during business hours, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Built in 1881, 94-96 S. Washington Street is marked as the Grummel-Remmele Block. The building has had many tenants in its history, including American Discount and most recently as the American Institute of Massage Therapy.

TSEP, then Seneca Industrial and Economic Development Corp., purchased the Bradley Building in 2010 and made that theirs and the Chamber’s offices for more than 10 years. This move brings the offices back into the heart of Downtown Tiffin, after having previously operated out of 62 S. Washington St.

TSEP President & CEO David Zak said with the announcement, “We are excited about the move and view it as a commitment to historic preservation, downtown Tiffin, and our partnership with the Chamber and Destination Seneca County.” Chamber Executive Director Bryce Riggs agreed, saying, “We are excited about this next evolution for the Chamber and tourism in Seneca County. We believe a new, upscale welcome center will be inviting and informative for visitors and residents alike.”

Tiffin Mayor Aaron Montz was pleased with the news, “TSEP and the Chamber are helping to drive business and visitor growth in our community. We congratulate them on the move.” Seneca County Commissioner Mike Kerschner added, “It is fitting that TSEP, the Chamber, and Destination Seneca County move into the civic core of our county seat, across the street from Seneca County Justice Center, a testament to the collaboration that is helping drive us forward.”

During the move, the best way to contact TSEP or Chamber staff is by email, which can be found at their respective websites.
