TIFFIN, OHIO – October 18, 2021 – Arlington Acres, 3191 W. SR 18, a family farm turned event center, is announcing the completion of its building restoration project and the opening of reservations for the next wedding season.

In 2019, John and Sarah Bolte hosted a wedding at the barn, which inspired them to renovate the property for more events in the future. The barn has been completely renovated with a bar area, new siding and windows, and central air in the lower level which includes getting ready suites, restrooms and a prep kitchen. Additionally, an outdoor ceremony space was established.

As well as the event space, the Patch at Arlington Acres is available seasonally from September through October with a road side pumpkin stand available 24/7. The farm offers a variety of heirloom pumpkins, gourds and squash. The pumpkin stand is re-stocked daily with current inventory.

Sarah and John Bolte

Formerly known as the King Farm, the property has been farmed by John’s family since the 1950s. The original family owner was Arlington Dunn, an American Civil War veteran who lived in the area, and for whom the property now gets its name.

“We’re very excited to make this announcement and to continue growing our business here in Seneca County. We look forward to celebrating with more couples on their special day” said Sarah Bolte.

Seneca County Commissioner Mike Kerschner said, “Congratulations to John and Sarah Bolte on this investment in Seneca County and creating a destination for people from around the region.”
