TIFFIN, OHIO – February 24, 2022 – More than 320 attended the 2022 Annual Meeting of the Tiffin-Seneca Economic Partnership Thursday evening, February 24, 2022, at Camden Falls Reception & Conference Center in Tiffin. The event celebrated the successes of 2021 as Operations Manager Corrina Haynes, Development Coordinator Adam Gillmor, Business Services Consultant Carol Owen-Kern, Director of Downtown Revitalization Amy Reinhart, and President & CEO David Zak reviewed the community’s progress in economic, community, downtown, and workforce development.

There were many projects and initiatives from 2021 highlighted at the event. Last year, there was $76 million in announced investment and 535 new jobs to be created.

Since 2014, there have been 800 development projects involving half a billion dollars in new investment and 2,400 jobs, said Zak during his remarks. The ten-year goals of 1,000 jobs, 1,000 outreach calls to local businesses, and 1,000 stories to be shared about why Tiffin and Seneca County is a great place to live and run a business have been met. Growing talent, support and resources for area businesses will be the strategic focus for the next decade, he added.

Also, during the event, the TSEP Awards were presented to recognize businesses and individuals in the Tiffin and Seneca County community. Not every award is given each year, only when the Membership & Events Committee and/or the president or chairperson deem a company or individual deserving of the recognition.
