TIFFIN, OHIO – Monday, March 7, 2022 – Tiffin-Seneca Economic Partnership (TSEP) announced today that the owner of a successful Seneca County service business is looking to retire and sell the business. Detailed information about this opportunity, codenamed “Project Clickspring,” can be found on TSEP’s “Entrepreneurial Opportunity Clearinghouse” at tseoc.org. The opportunity will remain open from now until May 9, 2022.

The business owner, who wishes to remain anonymous at this time, is seeking to sell the business as soon as possible. The owner is asking $83,000 for the business and approximately $8,000 worth of equipment and supplies. Last year, the business did about $150,000 in sales with a roughly 40% profit margin. There are currently eight full-time employees on staff. The seller may be able to help the buyer finance the purchase. Following the purchase, the seller is willing to help the buyer orient themselves to the business.

Tiffin Mayor Aaron Montz stated his support for the project. “The Entrepreneurial Opportunity Clearinghouse has already produced multiple successful sales which have kept businesses in our community. I’m excited to see the entrepreneur who steps forward to lead this business.”

Eligible parties may include people wanting to run and/or own the business, but don’t have to be both. The Tiffin-Seneca Entrepreneurial Opportunity Clearinghouse (TSEOC), launched in April 2021, is designed to facilitate the flow of entrepreneurial talent and capital to new business start-up, franchise, and business acquisition opportunities. There may be investors that do not want to run the business but would be willing to invest if a competent entrepreneur and business manager could be found. Interested parties should contact Adam Gillmor, Development Coordinator at TSEP, at gillmor@tiffinseneca.org, or by phone at 614.725.8086.
