Upcoming Events

There are a lot of exciting events that happen in downtown Tiffin!

Celebrate fall with a fun stroll around downtown Tiffin. The walk is set for 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, October 16. Collect fall-themed treats at participating locations and explore everything Downtown Tiffin has to offer.
A confirmation email will be sent after ticket purchase, which can be presented at The Renaissance of Tiffin, 129 S. Washington St., the day of the event (starting at 9:30 a.m.) for walkers to receive their ticket (with map) and a bag.
Walkers are asked to follow all CDC guidelines and respect the masking policies in place at individual businesses.
Ticket prices will used to support participating businesses and are available at Simply Susan’s or online at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/downtown-tiffin-pumpkin-stroll-2021-tickets-169519624761.
This year’s event is being sponsored by Old Fort Bank.

  • Chocolate Walk – May 8, 2021
  • Summer Stroll – July 31, 2021
    Tickets go on sale Tuesday, June 15 at Washington Street Outfitters and Simply Susan’s.
  • Pumpkin Stroll – October 16, 2021
  • Christmas Walk – December 4, 2021     

Your ticket allows you to visit participating locations and collect a unique treat related to the walk’s theme. There are stops throughout the downtown area. Get a group of friends together and wear your walking shoes! Read more


Trivia Nights/Third Thursdays Trivia Night in Downtown Tiffin logo

Trivia Night in Downtown Tiffin is a collaboration between TSEP and the Tiffin-Seneca Public Library. Our goal is to bring people of our great community together for a fun-filled evening while supporting locally owned businesses. Locations vary, but have included, Viaduct Bar & Grill, Tiffin-Seneca Library, Moose Lodge, Elks Lodge, the Chandelier Community Events Center and many more. 

Teams can register prior to the event by calling the library at 419-447-3751 or online at tiffinsenecalibrary.org. Registration often fills quickly! The night of the event, teams will write their answers and submit them to the judges during four rounds of general trivia. At the end of the night, the winning team gets to take home the traveling Trivia Night trophy!

Themed evenings in downtown Tiffin – every third Thursday of each month! Each Thursday has a theme and participating businesses and restaurants are encouraged to incorporate the theme through decorations, a special menu items, music and more!

St. Paddy’s Day 5K

March 20, 2021

Chase the Leprechaun during the Annual St. Paddy’s Day 5k Run/Walk. Every year there is a speedy leprechaun in the race. The leprechaun starts after everyone else has begun, giving you a generous head start. Costumes are encouraged! Awards are given to the Top Ladd and Top Lass finishers. Proceeds to benefit Downtown Revitalization in Tiffin. Read more


Memorial Day Events

VA Services at 10am

A proclamation will be made celebrating the honorable veterans of Tiffin who made the ultimate sacrifice. A special remembrance will be made to those who passed within the past 23 months, June 1, 2019 through May 31, 2021. Names of those who sacrificed their lives will be read as a bell rings and a ribbon is placed on a wreath. Family members are welcome and encouraged to take part of this ceremony as your loved ones are remembered.

Seneca County Museum open 11am-4pm

The Seneca County museum at 28 Clay St, will be offering a “sneak peek” to the public for the first time since closing under COVID restrictions in March of 2020.

Frost Village open house 1pm-3pm

“Frost Village,” will hold an open house of three of its houses under renovation. This will be a self-guided tour, with an information sheet handout and a proctor at each property. The Frost Village properties are situated within a National Register of Historic Places District, listed as “Fort Ball – Railroad Area Historic District” in the City of Tiffin, Seneca County, Ohio.

Music by the Cherry Bombs 2pm-4pm

Band sponsored by the Sergeant Anthony J. Paradiso “Support Our Troops” fund of The Tiffin Community Foundation. This fund supports U.S. military troops, veterans, and their families from tiffin and Seneca county, Ohio. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy a great energetic, family friendly show featuring some patriotic favorites.


Tiffin- Seneca Farmers MarketTiffin Seneca Farmers Market

Experience the Tiffin-Seneca County Farmers Market sponsored by Sutton Bank in beautiful historic downtown Tiffin. The Farmers Markets will take place on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month starting in May and run through October. 

Customers can purchase home grown produce, home-made baked goods, honey, flowers and more. The market is open from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm and is located on S. Washington St., adjacent to the Courthouse.

Downtown Tiffin Pizza PartyPizza Party

Bring the whole family to enjoy a taste of Tiffin and Seneca County! The event will take place throughout Downtown Tiffin.
Attendees can purchase $1 tickets that can be redeemed for a pizza from any vendor. Half of each ticket sold will go toward charity.

Heritage Festival LogoHeritage Festival

September 17-19, 2021

Tiffin-Seneca Heritage Festival is Ohio’s 8th largest festival. The “Living Village” is located at Hedges Boyer Park and you can step back in time with reenactments, activities, music and vendors. The “Downtown Area” has family friendly entertainment including amusement rides, children’s areas, games, food vendors and more.

Main Street Celebration

The Main Street Celebration is a celebration of the successes of the previous year and updates about what’s happening Downtown Tiffin! Annual awards are to be presented and there is an opportunity for community input.
