With 47 acres full of trails, meadows, grasslands, wildlife, flowing water, good fishing, handicap accessible picnic tables and resting benches, the Forrest Nature Preserve is an inviting nature getaway, including the unique 80 ft. bluff overlooking Honey Creek.
Located at 701 East County Rd. 6 in Tiffin, Ohio, the initial five acres were donated in 2002 by the George Forrest family to the Seneca County Park District, which enabled the park district to secure a Clean Ohio Grant to acquire a total of 23.5 acres. In 2011, through the same manner, another 23.4 acres were acquired and the park grew to its current total size.
The park is closed from dusk to dawn and visitors are asked to follow all park rules.
