Project will create the premier indoor play space for Seneca County children.
April 18, 2024 — Tiffin, OH — Grace Community Church is thrilled to announce the launch of "The Hangar," an expansive indoor play space designed to enrich the lives of children throughout Seneca County. Located near the Seneca County Airport, this innovative project is poised to become a cornerstone for free of charge community and family entertainment, offering a safe, inclusive environment for children to learn, grow, and play year-round.
"The Hangar" is the culmination of our vision to create a vibrant, accessible space where children can unleash their imagination and explore the joy of play," remarked Zach Pinkerton, Campus Pastor at Grace Community Church.
The centerpiece of "The Hangar" is a large playground structure, boasting state-of-the-art design and a high capacity. Crafted by K Play, a well-regarded company based in Spain, the structure will be the largest of its kind in northwest Ohio, accommodating up to 200 children at a time. Costing more than $300,000, this centerpiece promises endless hours of adventure and excitement for children of all ages.
As part of a wider $2 million community investment, "The Hangar" will also feature a connected room available for private reservations, ideal for hosting birthday parties and special events. With ample natural light from large windows and comfortable seating for parents and grandparents, the space promises to be a welcoming space for families seeking relaxation and entertainment.
Tony Paradiso, President of the Seneca County Board of Commissioners, expressed enthusiasm for the project, stating, "The Hangar is a testament to Grace Community Church's commitment to enhancing the quality of life for all Seneca County residents."
Construction is already underway, with Clouse Construction spearheading the project. Grace Community Church expects to be able to welcome families in late fall 2024 when the project is completed.
