TIFFIN, OHIO – February 21, 2023 – Starting as a home business, Kendra’s Cakes has grown significantly since its founding in 2011. Today, Kendra’s Cakes serves their cakes, cookies, and cupcakes from a recently renovated building in the hamlet of Bascom.

“This has gotten bigger than I expected,” said Kendra Foos, the owner and founder of Kendra’s Cakes. “I’m so happy that we’ve been able to expand to this location. Bascom is a great place to be, and I’m excited to continue growing here.

Kendra’s Cakes welcomes walk-in customers Wednesday through Friday and offers a selection of desserts for them to choose from. However, Kendra and her dedicated staff also produce custom orders for special events and aim to make the highest quality products available. 

“Kendra’s Cakes is a great example of our rural businesses,” said current board president of the Seneca County Commissioners Anthony Paradiso. “The small businesses in our villages are an important part of maintaining our communities and economy.”

As the business continues to grow, Kendra says that she plans to increase the variety of desserts she offers for customers. “We’re looking forward to the future and being able to offer more for people looking for local options,” she said.

Kendra Cakes is located at 695 N. SR 635 in Bascom, Ohio.
