Downtown Tiffin's Ye Crimpers Shoppe is expanding its offerings by partnering with Ma Chere Claire, a boutique that sells clothing, accessories, jewelry and more. Customers can now stop by for salon services and browse the boutique at the back of the shop, located at 191 Jefferson St.
Owner of Ye Crimpers Shoppe Gina Raneiri and Ma Chere Claire owner Heather Hunker are both excited about the new partnership. "I decided this past summer to start a business, and I intended to open a storefront downtown in a couple years. I didn't anticipate going downtown so soon, but Gina is so willing to help and it's a great transitional spot in my career," Heather said.
Heather Hunker started her online clothing boutique out of her home in August of 2015. Shortly after that, Susan Wilkinson of Simply Susan's approached Heather about displaying some of her clothing in her store. Heather said that she will continue serving customers online, now with an option for in-store pick up.
Heather recently attended an apparel market in Atlanta and is planning a new lineup of products for Spring. New items will include Coco + Carmen apparel and accessories, Jadelynn Brooke clothing, and new jewelry, purses, shoes and sandals.
Ye Crimpers Shoppe has been in the same location since 1978. Gina left her job at A Cut Above The Rest to take over the shop three years ago. "I heard from a client that the owner was looking to retire, so I stopped by the salon to talk to her and voila, I was a business owner!," Gina said.
Ye Crimpers is a full-service salon, offering facials, full body waxing, massage therapy, a wide variety of manicures and pedicures, as well as hair services and products, and much more.
