Opened in 2013 as a 100th year anniversary celebration, Mercy Tiffin Hospital and the Seneca County Park District (SCPD) partnered to create the Mercy Community Nature Preserve, located at 45 St. Lawrence Drive, Tiffin, Ohio.
Located on the hospital campus, the 22 acre preserve includes a number of trails spanning 1.1 miles, Riparian woodlands, abundant wildlife, an Eagle Scout footbridge, a locally created totem pole, and the sound and solitude of flowing water.
The preserve is maintained and developed through an endowment fund, which accepts community support donations, established with the Tiffin Charitable Foundation. Visitors are invited enjoy the beautiful setting and the opportunity to refresh the mind, body and spirit.
The park is closed from dusk to dawn, and visitors are asked to follow all park rules.
