Juice bar, shared workspace to open in 131 Arcade
TIFFIN, OHIO – October 8, 2019 – A building in Tiffin’s Historic Downtown is undergoing a cosmetic renovation to provide opportunities for unique micro-retail and office spaces.
Releve Barre Studio recently was announced as the first business in “131 Arcade,” located at 131 S. Washington Street, and now by spring of 2020, it will be joined by a new juice and smoothie bar with fresh squeezed juices, fresh salads, wraps and other healthy options.
Owner Eduardo Hernando has been working with a group of four students, Katie Vogel, Jeffrey Baker, Tyler Barker and Joell Williams, from Heidelberg and Tiffin universities through a student entrepreneurship development program developing the new juice bar as a business development project.
Another new business in “131 Arcade” is a shared workspace. It is available for a monthly membership fee for people wanting a professional space to do business. With a modern, industrial design, the space will have workstations for people to use their own laptops as well as a lounge area with comfortable chairs and sofas.
“I think it’s a big need in the area,” Hernando said. “I believe in Tiffin and it’s future, and I’m excited to be able to invest in this thriving community.”
Tiffin Mayor Aaron Montz commented: “I’m pleased to see Eduardo and the Hernando Group’s continued interest in Tiffin. I hope they continue to play an exciting role in the growth of our downtown.”
