The Ritz Theatre has had an incredible life here in Tiffin, Ohio. Built in 1928 as the third in
town, it is the only one left. The theatre was purchased by the non-profit Tiffin Theatre Inc in the early 1980s and was renovated in 1998 as closely as possible to its original state, embracing the Italian Renaissance design.
88 years after opening to provide the community with quality talent and entertainment, the tradition continues; every year, the Ritz hosts a number of different events, from performances to individual receptions. From the bigger-name artists to local talent, the Ritz is dedicated to providing the Tiffin community with quality entertainment opportunities. Tickets are available for pre-order online or the day of the show. For groups larger than 20 individuals, there is a 10% discount. For full-time students, tickets are available for $5 during rush (30 minutes before show) with Student ID.
If you are interested in ushering or volunteering, simply contact the Box Office during normal business hours to express your interest. The Ritz also hosts outside promoted performances, weddings, business conferences, benefits, holiday parties, reunions, trade shows and other private events. The Ritz is a non-profit organization and must continually raise money to support its mission to bring high-quality performances and educational opportunities to the community.
