Company to add offices, warehouse
TIFFIN, OHIO – June 3, 2021 – Sonoco today announced it has broken ground on a new expansion of its facility at 60 Heritage Drive, Tiffin, in the Northstar Industrial Park. The company employs 90 people in Tiffin.
The 46,600-square-feet addition includes new office space with a large conference room and a warehouse. Additionally, the parking lot will be resurfaced and expanded. Clouse Construction of New Riegel is the design build general contractor for the project.
Sonoco, which has operated in Tiffin since 1992, is a global provider of consumer, industrial, healthcare and protective packaging. The company was the first to locate in the Northstar Industrial Park, and this is its third expansion. Across the globe, Sonoco employs more than 20,000 teammates working in more than 300 operations in 34 countries, serving some of the world’s best-known brands.
