Company asking $20,000-$30,000 for business, inventory
TIFFIN, OHIO – Monday, Jan. 10, 2022 – Tiffin-Seneca Economic Partnership (TSEP) announced today that owner of a long-standing Seneca County retail business is wanting to sell the business. Detailed information about this opportunity, codenamed “Project Flower,” can be found on TSEP’s “Entrepreneurial Opportunity Clearinghouse” at tseoc.org. The opportunity will remain open from now until March 21, 2022.
The business owner wishes to remain anonymous at this time and is seeking to sell the business as soon as possible. The owner is asking $20,000 to $30,000 for the business based on the amount of inventory the purchaser wishes to keep. Annual sales are between $72,000 and $92,000. The owner is the business's only full-time employee. The business owner can provide support and serve as a resource to help the purchaser learn the business.
This business is currently located in Tiffin. The business is currently located in a leased space which costs $660 per month.
Tiffin Mayor Aaron Montz stated his support of the project. “The Entrepreneurial Opportunity Clearinghouse continues to be a resource to connect entrepreneurs to business owners ready to retire, but not looking to close their successful ventures. I hope that this project allows this long-standing business to remain in Tiffin.”
Eligible parties may include people wanting to run and/or own the business, but don’t have to be both. The Tiffin-Seneca Entrepreneurial Opportunity Clearinghouse (TSEOC), launched in April 2021, is designed to facilitate the flow of entrepreneurial talent and capital to new business start-up, franchise, and business acquisition opportunities. There may be investors that do not want to run the business but would be willing to invest if a competent entrepreneur and business manager could be found. Interested parties should contact Adam Gillmor, Development Coordinator at TSEP, at gillmor@tiffinseneca.org, or by phone at 614.725.8086.
