Opportunities for business sales and investment still available
TIFFIN, OHIO – February 9, 2024 – Business owners seeking to retire have a free option to ensure that their life’s work continues beyond them. The Tiffin-Seneca Entrepreneurial Opportunity Clearinghouse has successfully led to three business sales and spurred investments in two development projects.
Started in 2021, the Tiffin-Seneca Entrepreneurial Opportunity Clearinghouse allows business owners to advertise their business for sale either anonymously or publicly for no charge. The goal of the Clearinghouse is to facilitate the retention of businesses in Seneca County that may otherwise close and not be replaced. Additionally, entrepreneurs with an idea they need help to bring to market can use the Clearinghouse to solicit investment from the community they serve and beyond.
“The Tiffin-Seneca Entrepreneurial Opportunity Clearinghouse is a proven tool for transitioning a business to new owners,” said Aaron Montz, President and CEO of the Tiffin-Seneca Economic Partnership. “It allows us to lower the bar for entry for entrepreneurs looking to enter the business community and ensure that business continues to thrive in Seneca County.”
Interested individuals are encouraged to contact Tiffin-Seneca Economic Partnership Development Manager, Adam Gillmor to discuss the Clearinghouse, their business, or their next big idea by email gillmor@tiffinseneca.org.
