Washington St. and the building at 140 S. Washington St. The combined total investment of both projects is estimated at $95,659. The loft apartments in the Gold Bond building will be having new windows installed. The more than $75,000 project will be offset by a $10,000 Façade Enhancement Grant. The owners of the building site lower utility usage and a cost savings to residents as reasons for the improvements.Image removed. The building at 140 S. Washington St. will receive a $9,900 grant for their window replacement project. The windows to be installed will match the windows already in place at 144 S. Washington St., helping to create a consistent design in that city block. Over the past several months, Weston Reinbolt has been renovating the buildings at 140 and 142 S. Washington St. “One of the great things about the Façade Enhancement Grant is that it is not a one-time deal,” Reinbolt said. “You can apply for a grant for the same building each year; it really encourages downtown building owners to keep improving their properties and take on new projects.” About SIEDC Started in 1983, the Seneca Industrial and Economic Development Corp.
