In 1987, now President Chuck Clouse went into the Marine Core, where he served as a Marine Core electrician for six years. After graduating from the service, he then served as an electrician for several companies until 1995, when he and his cousin, Kevin Clouse, decided to form their own company known as Clouse Electric. They built their first shop themselves in 2000. They would spend their days working and the rest of the evenings working on estimates to keep bringing in projects to keep the company going. In 2005, they outgrew that 40x120’ shop. That eventually led to the move from SR 18 to the current location on US 224. As their reputation grew, so did their employee base, which is now above 35 employees.

In operation since 1995, Clouse Electric has grown into one of the top electrical contractors in Northwest Ohio.
