In addition to the Flag Day observance, the Tiffin-Seneca Public Library will be on hand with children’s activities; GEM Yoga will conduct a class at 10 a.m. on the courthouse lawn and Keith Hodkinson of WTSC radio will cover the flag event and provide musical entertainment.
One of the best parts of our location here in the downtown Tiffin area is being co-located with the Seneca Regional Chamber of Commerce, a great organization promoting, assisting and advocating on behalf of businesses for almost 100 years. We work closely together, and I was excited to find out that they will be throwing their annual Casino Royale shindig on Saturday, February 8 at Camden Falls featuring the Cleveland-based Santana tribute band Evil Ways. The event serves as an annual fundraiser for the chamber but is also a “must go” kind of party – last year more than 200 attended and had a great time.
The event kicks off with cocktails and dice/blackjack games at 6 pm with heavy hors d’ouevres soon to follow. Music and raffle for 30+ prizes (LED TV, tablet, airplane rides, gift cards, etc.) at 7:30. I’ll be there and am inviting others to come as well. Please join us. Only 26 tickets left. Call John or Deb at the Chamber at 419.447.4141 to get yours. You can check out the flyer here.
