TIFFIN, OHIO – May 19, 2020Tiffin-Seneca Public Library and Downtown Tiffin have partnered for “Tiffin Tales,” a program that brings stories to children and families unable to visit the library due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The series now has three videos, with Toria Felton of FroZone, Shirley Williams of UIS Insurance & Investments and Donna Overholt of the Tiffin Glass Collectors Club & Museum.

New videos of Downtown Tiffin business representatives and community leaders reading books from the library will debut on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and will be available for just one week each.

The program is possible through permission from Simon & Schuster Education and Library for librarians to share picture books during the COVID-19 crisis.

Matthew Ross, director of the Tiffin-Seneca Public Library, commented: “With the virus making it hard for kids to get into the community — let alone the library — we decided to ask leaders in our community to help us bring the library to kids! Many thanks to our friends at Downtown Tiffin for helping us get the word out!”
