Store offers music, collectables and games
TIFFIN, OHIO – October 9, 2019 – Officially opening its doors during the Tiffin-Seneca Heritage Festival, 22 mrkt is the newest store in Downtown Tiffin, focusing on hard-to-find treasurers and items that previously have not been offered in the local market. The store is located at 22 E. Market St., right next to Red Raven Tattoo & Art Gallery.
The owners refer to themselves as a group of collectors, curators, creators, fans, nerds and more, and the store offers a wide selection of new and used vinyl, cassettes, VHS, comic books, table top games, toys, collectibles, apparel and gear.
Staff can recommend bands or make suggestions on new titles and can make offers on items customers are looking to sell.
The owners of 22 mrkt also want to work with local bands, authors and artists to find the coolest locally sourced items.
“We wanted to offer something that Tiffin didn’t have, and have it in a store that we would want to go to,” said co-owner Josh Randall.
Tiffin Mayor Aaron Montz commented: “I’m happy to see more retailers coming to Downtown Tiffin.”
Store hours are 5-7 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, 4-8 p.m. Fridays and 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturdays. For more information, find them on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/22mrkt/ and Instagram @22mrkt.
