School in Tiffin has been accredited since 1966
TIFFIN, OHIO – Aug. 22, 2019 – Tiffin Academy of Hair Design, 104 E Market St, Tiffin, was named as a Founding Member School by the National Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology Arts and Sciences Aug. 17 in Washington, D.C. The school was started in 1962 and became accredited in 1966 through NACCAS’s predecessor, the Cosmetology Accrediting Commission, in 1966.
President Therese Vogel has owned Tiffin Academy of Hair Design since 2001, and prior to that she worked at the school starting in 1985 after having studied there herself. She said she is proud that many cosmologists in the area had their start at the school.
“For a school our size, it’s very cool that we’ve been around for so long,” Vogel said.
Tiffin Academy of Hair Design previously was recognized by NACCAS for being a member of the organization for 30 years.
